How am I going to convey the same message in another language/s?

Both interpreting and translating are options for the language combinations of our geographical areas:

English, French, Italian, Maltese and Spanish.  All interpreters are professional experienced people and have their specialist subjects.

Interpreting is spoken word and can be in one of the following forms:

- Simultaneous with booths and head phones for large meetings or conferences. At least two interpreters are required

- Consecutive at board meeting level.  One or sometimes two interpreters are required.

-  Ad hoc interpreting is for smaller groups or one to one, in which case a single interpreter is required.

-  Whispering is required when one or two delegates need/s to know what is being said. Sometimes two interpreters are required because the interpreter might have to speak all the time as in the booth.

Translation is the process of transferring information from one language into another in written form, from the source language into the target language.  While there are correspondences between translation and interpretation skills, translation applies only to the written word..

All translators are experienced and have specialist subjects.

Voiceovers or voice-over, as it is sometimes spelt entails the following:  the voice of an unseen narrator used for:

- narration
- commercials

- internet
